Religious Formation

Children in the 1st through 8th grade meet for an hour and a quarter on Tuesday afternoon and evening (two separate sessions each week) Families choose the time; 4:30 or 6:30 until a class is filled.

Children are prepared for First Holy Communion in the second grade. A requirement is that they must have completed the first grade program. A parent meeting is held in January.

NEW FOR 2010-2011: Due to popular demand, there will be an additional class on Thursday afternoon for 7th grade only. Space is limited so if you need to move your child to Thursday, please contact Alice Mastin immediately at 586-792-1276 or email amastindre@stronald.com!

Students in 8th grade go to Mariannhill Retreat Center in January each year as part of the preparation process for Confirmation.

There are “catch up” programs for older children, please contact Alice Mastin, DRE for information.

New REGISTRATION Forms are available now. If you have children who will be entering the program in the fall, please come in or download the form here and get it in as soon as possible please! Those who are already in the program were given their forms on Tuesday, April 13 at class (attached to the What's New.)
